Shivasharane Akkamma, known as Kadira Remmavve, was a 12th-century Virashaiva mystic and weaver. Her ankita nama was "Kadira Remmiyodeya Gummeshwara." She lived independently, spinning yarn to earn her livelihood and spending her earnings on dasoha—sacred giving to wandering ascetics.
