ನಾ ತಿರುಹುವ ರಾಟೆಯ ಕುಲಜಾತಿಯ ಕೇಳಿರಣ್ಣಾಅಡಿಯ ಹಲಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ, ತೋರಣ ವಿಷ್ಣು,ನಿಂದ ಬೊಂಬೆ ಮಹಾರುದ್ರ;ರುದ್ರನ ಬೆಂಬಳಿಯವೆರಡು ಸೂತ್ರಕರ್ಣ.ಅರಿವೆಂಬ ಕದಿರು, ಭಕ್ತಿಯೆಂಬ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಹಲಾಗಿ,ಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ನೂಲು ಕದಿರು ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.ರಾಟೆಯ ತಿರುಹಲಾರೆ- ಎನ್ನ ಗಂಡ ಕುಟ್ಟಿಹಇನ್ನೇವೆ ಕದಿರರೆಮ್ಮಿಯೊಡೆಯ ಗುಮ್ಮೇಶ್ವರಾ.

O’ brothers, understand the beauty of my spindleThe base of which is Brahma, top is VishnuThe rod in centre is RudraSupporting Rudra are the two wheelsKnowledge is the pin, devotion is my hand motionThe spindle spins, the yarn formsI turn the wheels - but the force behind me isYou; O’Gummeshwara, Lord of Kadira-Remmavve
