Ramdhari Singh Dinkar

Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was a leading Hindi poet and essayist of the twentieth century. His Kurukshetra and Rashmirathi recast epic material into a nationalist and moral argument. He was awarded the Jnanpith in 1972 and served in the Rajya Sabha.
