Transliteration
gagana talenavirAge pare tAre hOvagejagavella vapuvAge mAye satiyAgenagunaguva bobbiDuva jIvatAnDava rasikabhagavanta shivarudra -- MANKUTIMMA
Interpretation
The Universe is a smorgasbord of dichotomies...the Creator & the creation being one & the same is another example
To an observer, the sky appears to be the hair-do on the head of the Creator & the celestial objects are akin to the flowers on this head
The vast expanse of this world is His body & Maya, the illusion, His wife.
All the myriad beings in this Universe & their lives, their inter-dependencies are nothing other than a manifestation of all his emotions
Mankutimma, in this manner, the Creator has manifested in His creation as the Omnipresent & Omnipotent One. He at times, takes the form of Shiva, the silent one who protects the good in this Universe; and at other times, takes the form of Rudra, the destroyer who annihilates evil thus restoring balance in the Universe.
