Interpretation

Yet another of the many dichotomies designed in the Universe is that of the symbiotic relationship between body & soul

While it is very clear that the path to salvation or unearthing the Truth is through the soul, the body cannot be left behind for the soul can never exist in isolation…it needs the human body to even survive

Mankutimma, you may hear of people trying to reach the Creator by focussing solely on the spiritual development of their sole at the cost of complete neglect of their body. You can observe that invariably this leads to failure…for their mind is time & again diverted by the desires their body demands from them. Spiritual development is impossible without a healthy body which is why you see the importance placed in the scriptures on keeping the body fit, meeting its desires without over-indulgence so that the spiritual development can continue unhindered. Ensure you find the right balance in sating the desires of your body & soul.
