Interpretation
While it is very true that the Creator has designed His Universe such that it is shrouded with a veil of illusion, the impact on its inhabitants is always real
Such is yet another contradiction seen here – one would normally expect that the consequences of chasing illusion would also be so; but the Creator has ensured that there is a real & very explicit consequence.
Mankutimma, you have to face the reality that if you don’t hone your senses to differentiate between the right path & wrong one, then you will invariably chase illusionary desires – and fall down & hurt yourself. Take the example of a person groping around in the dark who mistakes a rope for a snake – for a few moments, he is frightened, afraid for his life & sweats profusely…soon, he realises that it was just a rope after all; the perception of snake was a mere illusion & he relaxes; but the sweat, the fear & the increased heartbeats are all real. Such is life as well…in the absence of honed senses, we mope around in darkness & get either seduced or frightened by illusion around us & react accordingly…soon, realisation hits us; but it is too late by then for the consequences have already happened.
