Interpretation

Yet another dichotomy in the Universe is the symbiotic relationship between the body & soul of man

While some scriptures advise people to suppress all bodily desires; neglect it & follow only the soul, encourage only spiritual growth, the body & soul have been so designed that not only can they not live without each other; they actually grow by feeding off on each other

Mankutimma, you may see some people describe the body as nothing but a pot of mud in which flesh & bones are present…this is such a wrong description. Actually, the body is the receptacle for the soul – not only that, it is as well the support system for the soul. It is only in a strong body that an enlightened soul can reside. Also, such a soul ensures the body is not over-indulgent…such is the symbiotic relationship between the two. Find your right balance between the two & neither neglect nor overindulge either.
