Interpretation
Among the many dichotomies designed by the Creator in His Universe is the one related to the five senses that He has imparted in man
The conundrum is whether to suppress the senses or not. If man were to yield to every desire that generates within him, then where would he have the time to learn, introspect & understand the right path to live
Mankutimma, you will get several suggestions from people to suppress all your desires & you may even attempt to do so – this experiment is however fraught with risk. While you may not let yourself show emotions like love, hatred, laughter, cry, praise, condemnation; you can be sure that they have all entered your heart, your mind as a result of you interacting with people. just like when your stomach is full, you let some air pass out as a burp & feel relaxed; so will you have to let some of these emotions, desires out. Else they will get bottled up in your heart & strangle you.
