Interpretation
What was the genesis of this Creation? Was it created with only one set of attributes…likely not
What were the attributes in the Creator that influenced the creation?
Very likely that attributes of both Shiva & Rudra existed in the same God – both beauty & destruction in the same entity
The same God has a flute in one hand & a conch in the other – one is a call for romance while the other is a call for war
This is actually not a dichotomy but a reality – all things exist as inseparable & contradictory opposites
Mankutimma, after all even if God has to snap his fingers, he needs two of them – what can He do with one alone?
