dOSHiyavanivanu pApiyenutta gaLahadiruAsheyenitavanu sahisidano! dahisidano!vAsanegaLavananEneLadavo balaveno!pAshadaddhanu naranu – MANKUTIMMA
Interpretation
Man, at a very primal level, is a function of his desires.
His evolution depends largely on his ability to harness these desires effectively – these desires act on his senses & drive his behavior
Mankutimma, do not make the mistake of assuming the externally demonstrated behavior to be the true personality of a person…who knows what struggles the person has gone through? How many desires has he endured? Has he fought against? Has be suppressed – willingly or unwillingly? The outcome is not necessarily the same each time…it varies with the context in which the desires play on man’s senses…very important that you do not run way from life experiences – learn from them & become a better person
