Interpretation

The Creator has ensured that there are always checks & balances in the Universe. He has ensured that any behavioral trait when demonstrated in excess would cause harm rather than benefit

Hatred & anger are harmful is very well known; but when friendship & attachment are seen in excess, then these traits also result in choking the emotions rather than liberating them

Mankutimma, as you progress in your life, be careful that you neither display any behavior in excess nor do you allow others to do that with you, even if these traits seem pleasant & lovable initially. The same people who show friendship, love, affection & become your friends would start to become a millstone around your neck & you would not even realise it till it is too late. Since you consider them as your friends & trust them, the deceit when exposed will cause excessive mental agony. So, ensure all your senses are sharp & you are able to see through any deceit at an early stage…best is you do not allow any emotions to become so excessive that you may have to repent later.
