Transliteration
indu maduveya habba; nALe vaikunTha tithiindu mRuSHTAnnasukha, nALe bhiKSHAnnaindu bariyupavAsa, nALe pAraNe yintusandiruvudanna RuNa – MANKUTIMMA
Interpretation
The Universe is in a state of constant change…in fact, change is the only thing constant here
It does not take long for fate to change…man could be hosting a wedding feast one day; and in the blink of an eye, there could be a death in his family…a rich man enjoying a lavish meal could be reduced to begging for his food the next day
Mankutimma, realise that nothing can be taken for-granted by man…the Creator has ensured that man is constantly subjected to challenges in the form of changes in his life to which man has to constantly find answers. To balance this, the Creator has given man the gift of intellect which if used judiciously, not only can the current challenges be addressed; but also will help man evolve as a better human.
