Interpretation
The life-cycle of every creation in this Universe is never isolated in just the current one; but is influenced by its roots, its origins, its previous cycles
This is true whether it is for man or any other living or non-living being creations in the Universe
Good deeds, sins, indebtedness, indulgences in any being – these are all influenced by that being’s earlier actions – even earlier births.
Mankutimma, think about this. A seed from a banyan tree, as it grows will show the characteristics of a banyan tree and while that of a neem tree would show different ones…despite a situation where both seeds are influenced by exactly the same external conditions like soil, atmosphere, water etc. Same is true with man as well…how he behaves is influenced by his genes to a very large extent…thinking philosophically, it is also influenced by his actions from previous births – his Karma. So, be cognisant of what you do & how you do – it all plays a role in influencing your current life as well as your future births
