Interpretation
Sat-chit-ananda; Real True Happiness in our mind is the essence of our Atma; Soul
How does man get to the root of Sat-chit-ananda…this quality is inherent in every soul without exception
The materialistic life that we lead puts a veil of illusion on this…making us believe that our happiness lies elsewhere
As we progress through life, we believe happiness is in gathering material things, pursuing material pleasures all of which are transcendentory & not permanent
Mankutimma, the objective of man should be to overcome the illusions that our material life has placed upon us & unearth the True essence of our life. This is possible only by passing through the rites of life & immersing in deep introspection of our actions, thoughts & experiences & that of those around us…we cannot expect to do this by remaining aloof & isolated…these experiences are a must for man to unearth his True essence. Just like the juice in a sugarcane cannot be extracted without passing it through the crusher, so will our True essence of Life not be able to be unearthed without the rites of passage of Life
