Transliteration
maunadoLo mAtinoLo hasyadoLo hADinoLomAnavam praNayadoLo vIra vijayadoLoeno entO samAdhAnagaLanarasutihanAnandavatmaguNa – MANKUTIMMA
Interpretation
Man is a creature who is constantly in search of satisfaction or happiness
Some endeavour to find this satisfaction in silence, others in conversation, yet others in comedy, few music
For some, romance is a source of this satisfaction while some search for it in demonstrating physical strength & victories
An activity that is a source of satisfaction to some is painful to another. Rigorous physical exercise as an example.
Mankutimma, the activities that man pursues may be different but his end objective is the same…instrospect on what pushes man to indulge in these activities…at the root of it is his desire to be happy in his soul. The essence of life that is embedded in him drives him to pursue different activities – this pursuit of happiness is actually nothing but an unconscious pursuit of the real Truth…this would not be possible if the unseen Force had not manifested itself in his soul…so the study of this Force is the ultimate goal of your life
