Transliteration
himagiriyoLavitihudu chaitanyadagnikaNastimitadim nintirpudadu dhareya hitakeshamada sundarada sAttvikada gAmbhIryavadunamagondu vEdanidhi -- MANKUTIMMA
Interpretation
In this Universe, every organism or object has its own purpose...there is nothing superior or inferior...everyone plays the role they have been assigned
The mighty Himalayan range with its snow capped mountains appear silent, stoic & inanimate...however, there is the Force or energy within these mountains -- lying dormant
It is this Force that has made these fold mountains rise up over past several thousand years and still continues to do so at a slow pace...we, with our blurred lenses just perceive it to be static
Mankutimma, the Himalayas, in its perceived static form while appearing to be inanimate, is a source of profound natural wealth, inspiration & knowledge in the form of being a source of many rivers, home to unique flora of great medicinal value, one-of-its kind fauna apart from being a natural protective barrier for our country against enemies. All of this is possible only because it is so tranquil -- if the energy was very active, then there would be volcanoes & earthquakes...such is the importance of being calm & composed
